Hi, I’m Marcy Raus!

I’m so excited to be teaching STEAM here at Harrelson. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics. It’s all about bringing creativity and problem-solving together—helping students explore, design, build, and imagine new possibilities. I love watching students discover how these subjects connect to real life and to their own passions.

I also get to sponsor our school’s Beta Club, which focuses on the four pillars: Achievement, Character, Leadership, and Service. Being part of Beta is such a rewarding experience, and I’m honored to serve as the State Beta Sponsor Elect, helping students grow as leaders not just in our school, but across the state.

Outside the classroom, you’ll most likely find me on the volleyball court! I’m the Henry County High School Volleyball Coach, and I love encouraging athletes to work hard, support each other, and strive to always work to their full potential.

Whether it’s through STEAM projects, Beta service, or volleyball games, my favorite part of teaching is encouraging students to dream big, work hard, and believe in themselves.
